Let us help you get into the festive mood
Two welcoming Saturdays at the Gardens to get into the spirit.
Saturday 23rd and Saturday 30th Nov. 11.30 – 3ish
Homemade and artisan gifts on sale,
Craft making sessions for adult and children
Pop along to the Courtyard and covered Melon Ground for a warming drink and a festive atmosphere.
Christmas is usually about budgeting AND indulging
We’ll be doing both too…

There’ll luxurious homemade soup, hot brownies and ice cream, hot mulled drinks As well as wonderfully handmade gifts by local people for those extra special presents.

Making Christmas – with budgets in mind
We’ll be guiding some upcycling and eco-christmas decoration sessions (donations for materials)…
Join in, take the ideas and make yourself beautiful home decorations on a budget.
Among the craft activities – some quick and easy, some may give you a couple of hours of wonderfully mindful making.

Alternative Advent Calendars
Learn to make stylish origami pockets to hide your choccy gifts (presented in a lovely reusable tea caddy)
An eco version of the classic Blue Peter Advent crown – rag not plastic tinsel.
Dried fruit tree decorations
Twigs and natural found objects decorations
and more recycled and home made decorations on the day
