Solihull gets festive!

Christmas in Solihull town centre is a truly enchanting experience, filled with twinkling lights and festive cheer. The town centre comes alive with festive spirit and there are family activities and special guest appearances for all to enjoy.

From our charity Jingle Bell Jog, an exciting new Panto (oh no you didn’t, oh yes, we did…. go for Aladdin this year), a visit from the Christmas villain the Grinch, plus much, much more! This is your go-to guide for everything festive happening in Solihull town centre 2025.

Aladdin (panto): Saturday 6 December – Sunday 4 January

With spectacular sets, breathtaking special effects, gorgeous costumes and mountains of mayhem, the award-winning Little Wolf Entertainment is bringing panto back to Solihull with their most lavish, action-packed family adventure so far!
You’ll be whisked away to the town of Shangri-La where the sorcerers are sinister, the caves are full of surprises, and the genies have been bottling things up for a bit.

Tickets are selling fast, so don’t delay – it doesn’t take a genie-us to know that one of your three wishes should be to see Aladdin at The Core Theatre this Christmas!

Santa’s Christmas Party: Friday 19 – Wednesday 24 December

Christmas time means party time, and everyone’s invited to Santa’s Christmas Party! This interactive family show for two to eight year-olds sees every child get the chance to receive a special present from Father Christmas in a meet, greet and treat!

Help Santa and his friends stop Jack Frost’s mischief and get Santa’s Christmas Party back on track in an adventure full of fun, festive songs and party games.

Teena’s Tinsel Time Tunnel: Saturday 13 December

Teena Bizkit returns to The Studio at The Core with Teena’s Tinsel Time Tunnel, a Christmas cabaret with a time-travel twist, packed with laughs, games, and retro fun!

Santa’s Grotto: open every day until Wednesday 24 December

Santa is back in residence this year at his enchanted Christmas grotto. He’s eagerly waiting to receive wish lists and will even have an early gift for your little ones. Be sure to book the grotto online so the elves can reserve your space. The grotto is located in Jubilee Walk.

The Grinch is back: Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December

The mischievous Grinch will be back at Touchwood once again and is taking over the whole of Touchwood…..get ready as you never know where he will pop up! Please note this is a free event and does not require booking.

Say hello to our friendly, four legged festive guest! Please note this is a free event and does not require booking.

The Christmas Crackers: Sunday 21 December

Roaming entertainers bringing jokes and festive fun to shoppers. Please note this is a free event and does not require booking.

Christmas Fun Day: Saturday 13 December, 11am – 3pm

Join us for one of the busiest shopping days of the year in Solihull town centre and keep the whole family entertained at our Christmas Fun Day! Whilst filling your shopping bags, you’ll be amazed by The Living Snow Globe, the ultimate Christmas attraction for young children and families.

You’ll also be able to meet the Antarctic Ambassador: Blizzard the Inflatable Penguin! Blizzard, the incredible eight-foot-tall penguin, creates a heartwarming spectacle that will amaze children of all ages!

Jingle Bell Jog 2025: Sunday 14 December, 10am

Spread Festive cheer this December by donning a Santa suit and completing our Jingle Bell Jog to raise money for Change Into Action. Every single person who completes the 2.5km course throughout the town centre will be given a special Santa medal.

As well as having plenty of fun, your entrance fee (£12 for adults; £8 for children under 14) will be helping to raise vital funds for the Change Into Action homeless charity. Registrations are open to both adults and children, and your entrance fee will include a Santa suit to wear on the day.
